Sleeps 8 (max 10); 4 cabins; 2 heads with showers; bowthruster; central heating; fridge plus electric coolbox
Deep Blue, a Bavaria 46, provides all the space and comfort you will need for your Clyde cruising. She is a very capable boat, and is well-equipped for sailing with her powerful bowthruster, electric winches and electric windlass and furling headsail.
Deep Blue has a well-designed layout can easily accommodate 8 guests, with a very large, airy forward double cabin, two large aft double cabins and a good-sized double bunk cabin. Four of these berths convert to sea-going bunks should the need arise. The saloon table can be converted to another double bed if required – or just to use as a snug area to spend time in the saloon. There are two good-sized heads/shower cabins and plenty space to enjoy social evenings in the saloon or in the large cockpit, which benefits from a bimini cockpit cover – useful in rain or shine.
Deep Blue has a well equipped and spacious galley area with two fridges, gas cooker and ample storage space adjacent to the saloon for both liquid and solid stores. Basic kitchen and cleaning essentials are provided to get you started. A kettle and toaster are available on board for use with shore-power.
Deep Blue carries all the required navigational aids – chart plotter, DSC VHF, wind and depth instruments, autopilot and also 2 way AIS.
Upgrades for the 2022 season include new bimini, mainsail, genoa furler, autohelm and Raymarine axiom chartplotter.
Deep Blue is a comfortable, spacious boat and a joy to sail!
“Thank you for another fantastic summer holiday, we couldn’t be happier both with the boats and your quality of service. Deep Blue was great for our extended family holiday, accommodating 7 in comfort along with our own inflatable canoes, paddle boards and wetsuits! With 3 kids on board I’d also like to commend you on how well maintained these boats obviously are, as a mother as well as a skipper this gave real piece of mind and we’re now looking forward to next year with Avocet already booked for what I’m sure will be another great family holiday.” Jen, 2022
